Hello everyone! Let me introduce you to someone super special to me, my best friend Alex! It is currently reviewing a fake tanning product for me-Tan organic. He has written a bloody good (and funny) review which you can read below.

Review by Alex
When Katie asked me to review Tan Organic I was so excited! The package is about how it is completely organic and has anti-aging properties. What more could you want! I like to cuddle me and I could not wait to try it. I usually use any fake tan is on offer (usually in the form of lotion because it is easier to use), so I was a bit 'worried about Tan Organic. Katie sent me a video that explains how to apply the tan and it looked pretty easy. You actually need to apply small amount in a circular motion until the tan seems to have uniform Easier said than done … -!

The night before … –
First I exfoliated and shaved then made sure that my body was completely dry, and then hydrated main areas-hands, elbows, feet and knees. I used my two favorite products, St. Ives and Jergens moisturizing butter Coco, which has the most amazing smell! It 's literally like heaven.
So once this was done I then applied all over tan. It 'much more watery than I'm used to using so that the first time I applied to the glove and ran straight off the entire floor (so beware!) Although once I applied it to my skin was a bit' easier to use. I used a circular motion, as I was told to do so, but one thing that I found when using the tan was the enormous amount of time it takes to melt only, it seems to be on top of my skin for a long time, making me feel uncomfortable, worrying about tan lines, etc. Every time I would work the area, it seemed to move around the tan to make me work more! I did this for a long time. I do not think I used too much about tanning as well. I applied the tan twice the glove for my whole arm and the upper part of the chest. When you are doing this, you would build tanning so once again you should just continue to rub it in. I did it on my body.

(Above: a tan liquid and picture showing chest after rubbing the tan on for ten minutes – still patchy and not sink into the skin properly).

In the video (here) that explains that when it comes to hands and feet to rub the glove on it as you did the rest of the body. Now, when I usually with the suntan lotion I just put a little 'moisturizer on your hands and blend in a little' tan from my forearms and shins to my hands and feet because it has the tendency to make the tan more compared to the rest of you. But I followed the instructions in each case.

After doing all my body I had to rub the glove myself again because patches darker once more had appeared. This was extremely annoying as it really should not take more than 30 minutes to tan. I can do so in less than 10 usually.

Once it was all done, I put some shorts and waited for the stuff to dry, it is said that should take 10 minutes to dry, but to be blunt it was completely wrong, I was still sticky when I went to bed two hours after a started the process! I watched a beautiful color after application and the bottle says that after a few hours which is the color that will be. So putting two and two together I thought it would be a glorious color, if it just went a little 'darker. So with that in mind to go to bed (still extremely sticky and uncomfortable). The tan does not rub on my sheets, but it did rub on the waistband of my shorts which was a bit 'annoying.

The morning after …

So when I wake up usually after tanning are a bit 'darker than what I would be, but that just washes out and I am in a beautiful color. But when I work up (completely dry thanks to God) was not only a dark tan (good) but I was covered with dark spots!! (Bad). My nose for one had a huge dark spot on it and then my normal skin color on the bridge of my nose. My feet were black my hands were black and white. I was absolutely shocked to be completely honest. The photos just do not do it justice.
After washing 4 times more had come out and I was a good color on her arms and face, although I had to align the face with a lot of make up. My feet were still blacks, and are still almost two weeks later. I spent the rest of the day trying to standardize my hands. I've tried everything, I have also discussed whether to use bleach. I know it's extreme, but my wrist was so bad and I got the job in the afternoon. I went on some forums with titles like 'Help!! FAKE TANNING DISASTER!! 'And knew I was in the right place.
I found a post that said that baby wipes are the answer to everything and that down. And you know what? It 's actually worked … I had three left so by the time I finished (it takes a little 'elbow grease) were dry as a bone, but it worked. I could not make my feet like they were just a lost cause. I also noticed that it had improved the appearance of the points blacks. What a terrible thing!

Conclusion …
I can totally see that maybe if I had not used the glove on my hands and feet (which is to say it in my defense) then I would have been a pretty color, but when you are applying the tan doesn 't seem to get away. I do not tan to be really dark, I am an extremely pale (I resemble a pig), did not inherit my genes Cypriot mothers or fathers my German beautiful pale skin (I wish I could pull off a Nicola Roberts!) So I want to just get a little 'color and too be fair, the problem with this when I can just slap on some fake tan lotion is just stupid. I do not like to be negative things, because a lot of thought has gone into it and has won awards and some people like it, but it's not just for me!

Alex and Ben Secrets tan
So I thought I'd pass on to you my secrets tanning, which I learned from my friend Ben. We usually get what ever tanning lotion is on offer, but when there is nothing to stick with L'Oreal Sublime Self-Tanner, which is about £ -8. And 'well, do not get all irregular and usually put a little' moisturizer before hand to help melt the hard areas. I do not do this on my face and back (I'm currently having treatment for acne on it so I will not hydrate). But I have to tell you something: (!) I was in the 99p shop in Peckham Rye where I live the other day and they sell fake tan for 99p and not just any fake tan … Hawaiian Tropic! I could not believe my eyes. It's called Radiance island and is by far the best tan I have ever used. It is a nice dark orange at all! So, all of you go down to the 99p shop!

What does Katie
I met the inventor of Tan Organic as well as Gavin Duffy from Dragon Den who shared with me the story Tan biological and looked really like a miracle worker. Before I gave it to Alex to try I also gave a bottle to my roommate who used to – she did a nice golden color but not very noticeable streaks and patchy areas on the arms and legs.
I think the reason why it does not fit very well for Alex (or my roommate) because the actual product does not contain drying agents like alcohol, so it takes a lot more work to rub where, of course, not everyone has the time, however, contains aloe vera juice so it is very moisturizing.

I think Tan Organic is ideal for those who are very experienced in tanning with a liquid and for those who prefer a darker tan – Alex and I are pretty pale so maybe it would be better for a more advanced tanner in the opinion of it. You can buy on-line biological Tan here for about 20 euro.

Have you ever used Tan Organic? Do you have any advice to help disaster fake tan?
