I had a haircut! Arrggghhhhhh! I'm so afraid of hairdressers, just because I always seem to blow so much money on a cut and style that I did not even ask, its just not how I want to finish. However, last week I went with my friend to Rush Lake, watching her have a change-has decided to try her hair red hair (from dark) and have a structure. She looked gorgeous in the end, the hairdresser has done the best job and I was jealous, her hair a healthy appearance, with a beautifully cut and color! So I booked my own last week.
I have not had a haircut in a year and my hair (before cutting) was more or less all the same length. I liked how this, as I could braid the hair and not by chance would fall, and it was all of a sudden, it was pretty obvious that I was not wearing extensions as I think most people assume that girls with blonde hair platinum do wear falsies. But, as I have layers, my hair was completely flat and lacked the volume and style, I need a change.

Experience – Everyone in the shop was lovely, very friendly. The woman at the desk I sat down with some magazines, took my coat and offered me tea etc., while my hairdresser was finishing her last client. I did not wait long when my hairdresser sat down with me and we discussed what I wanted. I asked him 'Over the volume, I some short layers in order to give my hair style more, I keep the length, but I do not mind a 'little trim.
She was very nice and told me exactly what I was going to do with my hair, wash with a little ' KERASTASE products in order to ensure its reality conditioning, then while its wet that was about to cut off the ends and add some random layers everything, then he was going to dry your hair and cut few layers shorter in.
The washing was lovely and relaxing, I think I had a girl work experience to do so, however, but he knew what he was doing and did it well. Then back to my place, my hair was combed … – It was quite distressing and painful … – My hair is dry, yes, but I can comb through well at home. The brush and comb my hair got full very quickly, which was completed by more than one node in it through his hair, but he did not clear the brush … – Which I thought was strange. Another thing that bothered me was, she blow dry my bangs in a center parting, when I told her I wanted to keep the side parting … – So at the end, when my hair style, it is clear that continued to fall back into a central line, which was very annoying and does not need to be that way.
Overall I think I spent about an hour and fifteen minutes in the lounge. To be honest I was not very happy with the end result, I'm always too shy to say something like 'I get shorter, you can change this please', so I just shut up, which is probably always be my downfall.
In the second picture above you can see how long the level of 'short' is … – Do not short at all, I was very disappointed because 'little volumize my hair, I took a lot shorter than that. Also, a lot of length was taken that my purpose was not too happy with the fact that his cut in a straight line dead, I'm more of a chick messy hair, not a dead chick straight line, what I mean!
I paid for everything myself, even though I had a 50% discount voucher from a friend who had her hair done before me (recommend a friend). So I ended up paying £ -22 for the cut, which would have been without the discount -44 pounds, which is extortionate.
I'm used to the change now, and I like it, definitely need some change and shape, now. Since then I washed my hair, and to be honest, kind of does look exactly the same as before, no one has noticed the change, willing to pay for -22 pounds, I would like people to notice.
Conclusion – The staff were lovely, the room itself was nice and clean and well laid out, but it is a bit 'too expensive and I got exactly what I asked for, even though I made it clear at the beginning. I enjoyed my experience, even if you do not stay there again unless I had another voucher.
