I must admit to being a bit 'a fan of Twilight – it all started in 2009 when my bff, Alex, gave me Twilight to borrow and told me that I have to read. I agreed and then quickly worked my way through each book, one by one. Since I saw the film at the cinema and enjoyed them, but not half as much as I liked the books.
I recently purchased two pieces of Twilight trick I have swatches and reviews below!
Volturi Twilight Labyrinth Loose Eyeshadow in Dawn
I am a big fan of loose pigments usually because they are always well pigmented (duh!) and look beautiful on the plate. 'Dawn' This color is absolutely amazing, a deep, dark chocolate, brown mud, which has silver, gold and sparkles almost blue in it.
Now, as this is a loose pigment, is quite confusing and has a lot of falling when applied to the eyes, so I like to get a little 'color of a dense eye shadow brush, tap the excess into the pot and apply eyes by pressing the color into the socket and blend later. Alternatively, just have a big, fat, soft brush and broom excess under your eyes after.
DuWop Twilight Lip Venom in 'red'
I've never tried any of DuWop poisons of the lips, or any other lip plumping gloss for that matter so this was a new type of product for me. First, this smells amazing, almost identical to the gum Big Red is like the smell of cinnamon mint that you can enjoy when you apply the product, which I adore. It 's really tingle when you apply this to your lips and you can feel your lips plumping immediately – ideal for girls with thin lips, but not so much for me, his lips are gigantic. Now I now why I've never used a lip plumper before – it hurts, because my lips swell so much, leaving me with a ridiculous grimace trout.
On the color and the formula of this product. This product, in general, is very much like The Body Shop 'lip and cheek stain'. Both have the same formula, texture and almost the same color. This particular one is nice because it does not really leave you with a look 'bite' of the lips, perfect for vampires. I like that you can build the color up to create the desired color of red (I applied two coats in the picture above). It takes a little 'to make the color on the lips, because it is very watery, but that adds even more to look that' sucked the blood. '
What I think - I'm always tired when looking at pieces of makeup or clothing that has been created from the back of a successful cult movie, like Twilight, because usually the products are too expensive and very bad quality. However, these elements make up surprised me. I think that the products are of high quality and are not as tacky as I expected them to be. The pigment is mainly a product that I would buy even without the name of 'Twilight' behind. I believe that these items are a bit 'expensive – about £ -10 £ -15 for the pigment and the lip venom, but they are quite small kitsch objects have sitting on my dresser.
Do you have any makeup in Twilight? What do you think of make-up intervals to be born from the back of the success of a film or a book – thumbs up or down?
